So the Impressions opening was on Friday night and it was really fun. There are over 160 artists so there was a huge variety of prints. I bought one by Robert Rooney and one by Gail Weiss. I recommend everyone go and check it out because there are still heaps of prints available from $100 to $250 for the big names.

It’s at the Australian Print Workshop Gallery (on Gertrude Street) until the 2nd of February so plenty of time to go see.

So when I got home the other day I found a mysterious package had been delivered. I couldn’t remember ordering anything online so I was a bit perplexed. Turned out to be a large stack of flyers for the upcoming Impressions fundraising exhibition at the Australian Print Workshop (which I am in!). I was excited by the sheer mass of flyers so decided to scan three at once.

It was quite cool to see my name on the same list as John Woseley, Rick Amor and Martin King amoung others. I’m really excited about the opening because the most expensive print is $250 so there will be some great bargins.

The opening is on the 30th of November, from 6 -8 at the Australian Print Workshop Gallery. I shall post a reminder closer to the date as I have another type of flyer I wish to scan.

here are some prints I did at the australian print workshop a few weeks ago. I was just messing around with some old aquatint plates and japanese paper and it actually turned out better than I thought it would.
